Humans , Empathy and Giving back to Nature ?

"Humans" are considered the greatest and Smartest creature on the Planet, and what does Human mean?  Its a Latin word relative to Homo, meaning man, and humus meaning Earth.

The Word "Empathy" is a deep & valued word in the world of Emotions. This word means when a person tries to feel the pain/sorrow exactly the way another person/creature is feeling due to any reason

Since Human is the Greatest Invention of God, He is blessed with this Valued Emotion of Empathy. He can experience emotions in the shoes of anyone that comes his/her way. But as per Mahabharata,  the Era changed from Satyug, Treta Yuga, Dwapar Yuga, and Now Kalyuga, Humans have evolved from all these ages, while in Satyug, it is said that Believing in Each other wellbeing irrespective of species and respecting nature was the foremost Importance. We have moved to the Kalyuga, and we are in the absolute opposite direction of the Satyug, and entered the concept of "Me first".

Damaging Nature, Clearing Forests,  Harming Natural Habitats, and Not spending an extra penny for the animals in need are what we are doing. We are least interested in giving back to this Beautiful Nature that has nurtured all our Yugas.  Lord Krishna said  - "Mai har Jeev mai hu" meaning "I am in every creature of this Planet", Are we respecting the presence of every creature on this planet? Are we giving back to any creature selflessly? - These are a few questions that we should ask ourselves, and if we are doing even a bit of it, we are protecting our Yuga.

Let us try to understand the concept of "Me first", by the basic example :

When we see an Injured Animal around us, Do we Protect him ?, Do we try to help Him?

When we see a Hungry Animal, or an Animal dying due to lack of Water? - Do we try to help him?

When we see an Underprivileged child around us, Do we try to give him directions in life?

We can Pay tax in lakhs/crores - But are we paying a number of our Earnings for the Help of Nature/the needy. We can create careers/houses for our kids - But did we ever got thought of helping the person who is trying to create a shelter for animals/ or did we get the thought of helping that one weak person in our extended family. We can do Shopping every month/ Invest in the Best Assets for our own family - But are we trying to keep a specific amount for the help of animals and Forests in our surroundings. One last Basic Question --  Are we planning to Install water pots outside of our houses for the animals this coming summer?

If the answer to a few of these questions is Yes, and even if we have thought of doing it from now.  Then we are absolutely on a better way of giving back to society/nature. We can try to Teach our generations the meaning of "Giving back" to Nature. Either Volunteering at an Animal shelter,  Planting trees in our surroundings,  Installing water pots for surroundings animals, and Giving them some space below our covered parking won't affect us anyway. We will be just serving our Krishna in this way.

But what about those living abroad - are they away from the roots of giving back ?, -- Answer is Absolutely No. Creating awareness, Helping your fellow friends in India who are working on the ground for animals, and Helping underprivileged children from India by any means are all forms of Giving Back.

- Richa :)

Krishna says "Mai har Jeev Mai hu" and since i am blessed with Empathy, I believe - Respecting every creature is my Religion, and Kindness is my Religion.

Happiness :) How i identified it :)

❤️

We meet different kinds of people in life, Few May find happiness in Seeing fresh Sunlight, Few May like thinking for hours, Few can find happiness In a mere cup of Coffee, Ultimately anything can give you happiness - A tree, Leaf, Chocolates, Squirrel or a Dog!

A dog, this creature has the love of the whole universe inside him!

When did I realize it? , I think probably around the age of 2. When it was the 90’s, and Chai ki shops, Morning walks, Poha Samosa Jalebi for breakfast were the way of life!

I used to be the shadow of my father since childhood, I have stood on his scooter front and traveled everywhere in the city! Be it his office, Mandir, or to go to buy that Samosa poha Jalebi.

At the same halwai shop, I have seen that innocent eyes, four legs, and a wagging tail creature - A dog :)

Dog sees you with all his heart, With an ask to your helping hand to satisfy his hunger! I offered my biscuit to the dog which was in my hand, he took the biscuit and we became friends!! This happened a couple of times!!

Then my father introduced me to touching the stray dog when I was actually a toddler!

I touched them fearlessly, I fed them fearlessly!

I learned at the home from Dadi & Mummy that there should be a first Chapati for Dog and Cow in the house when we cook food!

Once, there was a cow in Infront of our house, highly injured, and was not able to walk. Papa called the Vet and treated her, and we kept her in our Porch area for a few days and later sent her to GOSHALA. And took a proper follow-up of her well-being!

Another incident is, when we started living in govt quarters, we adopted a stray dog called Princee, and kept her like a baby, but we moved to Sehore, and could not take her with us in Sehore! Papa use to take food to her every day, but he has felt guilty and sad, and whatnot for not taking her with us. And when Princee died, I don’t have words to express the sorrow we felt.

There were multiple instances in childhood when I have seen how my father helped the animals in their surroundings! How he almost cried many times, when he used to remember our dog “Princeee”.

So, the value system for a toddler at that time was designed in a way that  - I was not told that a dog can bite or a cow can hit, It says Feed the animals, and help the animals in need, Go the extra mile and Believe in Coexistence. And I have adapted it for life. And my happiness source was unknowingly designed by my father.

A Child can be molded in a way you want him to. Teaching Compassion, Care, and love towards Fellow Creatures just increases the chances of a child becoming kind. World is already filled with lots of sorrows, But our coming generations can determine the better path of coexistence. They will be more adaptive to Technology, and they can find solutions to many problems like stray dogs population, safety, and many more by their progressive mindset. They can adapt that feeding strays, taking care of cleanliness in society, Helping people in need and many more good traits that support our ecosystem can be a source of happiness.

Make a world better place for Animals! Help whenever you can, However you can! And then there is a Bhajan - “Pata nahi kis roop me akar Narayan Mil Jaega, Nirmal Mann k darpan me vah Ram ka darshan paega”.

Just think of that dog or Cow or squirrel as Narayana, and See the Magic! 💚💛

For me Narayana is Happiness, and Happiness = Dogs 💗
